GraveDiggaz – Diary Of A Madman

Huge fan of the GraveDiggaz; both albums they produced in the 90’s were filled with classic tracks…and this is one of them. R.I.P to Grym Reaper. Enjoy!

Big Daddy Kane – Aint No Half Steppin

This song is a motha-f*cking classic and will be forever. Kids nowadays have NO CLUE what good hip-hop is…well kids, this is it. This is a throwback jam from 1988, right about the time when I was creeping my way into the hip-hop scene. Big Daddy Kane is still live and still doing shows around the country so check him out!!

KRS-One – MC’s Act Like They Don’t Know

KRS-One is a legend to most, and this song captures the essence of him as an MC and also the dopeness that was 90’s hip-hop. Enjoy!

Pigeon John – Sealed Fate and Eviction Notice

Both of these songs are from an old album from Pigeon John (LA Symphony) and is just as dope today as it was over 10 years ago. I listened to this CD (Pigeon John is Clueless) this morning on the way to work and thought these songs were due to be posted. Enjoy.

Pigeon John is still very active in the hip-hop community so check him out and buy his stuff.

Xzibit – Paparazzi

This is by far one of my favorite songs of all time, the beat, the lyrics, just plain dope all around. I remember buying this album in the mid-nineties and bumped it till someone broke into my car and stole the shit. I have yet to replace it but some day I will, and it will be glorious. And for all you youngins out there, Xzibit wasn’t only popular for Pimp My Ride…he is also an amazing rapper.

DEFARI – People’s Choice

Took a little time off from the Hip-Hop video blog but I am back, for now. Here is an amazing joint from Defari that just sings to me, People’s Choice, from his 1999 Focused Daily album. West Coast hip-hop ya’ll. Enjoy.
